Instruments (violins, violas, cellos)
The Stradivari House of Phoenix guarantees that all instruments sold in-store and online are in good ready-to-play condition, free from buzzes and any other defects that would prevent normal playing. Buyer hereby acknowledges that the instrument is being purchased in “as is” condition with no warranties, guarantees or obligations other than Seller’s agreement to pay Buyer a full refund if and only if the instrument is returned in the same condition as it was at the time of purchase. We offer the following 1 year free adjustments on all instruments purchased directly from us: adjusting positions of soundpost and bridge for sound-optimization, and string tuning. Any structural or aesthetic issues discovered after the time of purchase will be the financial responsibility of the buyer.
The following items are specifically not covered by our 1 year adjustment policy: Shortening or replacing soundpost; lowering or replacing the bridge, or adjusting the bridge curve; seams that have opened up at spots that were previously glued at time of purchase; adjustments to fingerboard “scoop” or removal of bumps that might cause buzzing; pegs that do not maintain an acceptable level of friction; unexpected breaking or loosening of the tail-gut holding the tailpiece; fine-tuners in the tailpiece that do not turn smoothly; cracks of any kind; damage to, or breakage of strings; breakage of the bridge, chin rest, pegs, tailpiece, endpin, endpin housing, or endpin screw mechanism; breakage of any part of the neck, fingerboard, pegbox, or scroll.
The Stradivari House of Phoenix guarantees that all bows sold in-store and online are in good ready-to-play condition, free from any defects that would prevent normal playing. Any other structural or aesthetic issues discovered after the time of purchase will be the financial responsibility of the buyer.
